Sunday Morning

Prairie Hills meets every Sunday morning for worship. At 9:15 we have an early morning worship led by different members of the congregation. From 9:30 to 10:15 am we have Sunday School classes for all ages. At 10:30 am is our main worship service. This service includes music, prayer, a sermon, offertory, sharing joys and concerns, and ocassionally other elements of worship as decided by the presider. The order of worship, song lyrics, and readings are displayed on the projector using Powerpoint.

Anyone is welcome to join us in worship. A nursery is available for children up to age four. We also have worship kits to help children from age 3 to 12 participate in, understand, and enjoy the worship service. The kits include coloring pages, a young readers version of the bulletin, and theme-related activities. If you have special needs, our greeters will be glad to help you.

Wednesday Prayer Service

We meet each Wednesday night at 7 pm to share in a prayer and testimony service. This worship offers people the opportunity to share their needs and the needs of others. We lift those needs up to God in prayer. Time is also given to express our thoughts and stories about the week's worship theme. Different members of the congregation lead the Wednesday service each week.

Other Worship Opportunities

From time to time members of the congregation have other opportunities to worship together. These special worship services can include a labrinth meditation time, world church services streamed live on the projector, Good Friday and Christmas Eve services, and candlelight vigils.
